Now we're HTTPS

Having great success with Infinity Free web hosting. With their help nearfuture.info is now HTTPS. At last we may start to get listed by Google... And some visitors...

Live - a second time

Last year 000webhost deleted my website due to inactivity. When I tried to get to the files they were still there, that was December.

So I tried to start a new account and tie it up with my website files. I opened a new account easily. When I tried to create a new website with the original name, it said it was taken. So, defeated, I started another website. Copied in a load of pages and tried go connect to my domain. Sorry, that connection is already used...

I contacted their help, which is done in an odd way, and they tried to give me instructions to do what I've already tried. I tried again. Back emailing help again. They try something else; I try again. No luck.

Emailing 000webhost help again, I tell them what the problem is. They say there is a wait for technical assistance. They've put me in a queue but it is likely to take a while, you may like to find another host! Can you believe that?

Welcome to Infinity it said. Completely free web hosting - unlimited storage, 99.9% uptime etc.

I thought "What have I got to lose?" And it was easy. Editing my domain, I point to their servers. Done. I upload my files, much quicker than the last lot as Infinity's FTP site worked first try in ES File Explorer. Brilliant!

So yesterday I went live again. Today I refined my upload, which was complete from my first attempt. So easy. Will it stay that way? Only time will tell.

NearFuture.info goes live!

At last I have found a cheap (FREE) web hosting service (000webhost.com) and connected it up to NearFuture.info.

NearFuture.info was populated on the night of 7/8 June 2018.

In the subsequent fortnight:

  • the _protect folder was protected with username/password and populated;
  • the king family tree had the living people moved to _protect and the entries in the king folder adjusted to hide the details of the living.

So at last I have published my website; the site that I have been working on for 15 years! Actually, parts of the website were held in stand-alone documents many years older than that. It is only when I was able to carry around a mini computer (then a monochrome pocket pc) that I brought all the documents that were important to me together as a coherent website, and it became a useful way to add important notes and thoughts.

Research into my family tree began in earnest in 2003 when my father died and this was soon added to the website with the aid of the Legacy family tree program (and a little, cleaver HTML knowledge to really tie the pages in). The main king family tree took nearly 10 years to bring together - about five years ago now.

During this time I continued to work on the future section of the website. Bringing together the original documents that I had written as part of the Dave/Colin group and expanding them into the rough format that still exists today. Finally understanding the full realisation of this work around the same time - about five years ago now.

Part way through working on the future section (about 2007), it became apparent that England was in for a dunking, literally. And this, together with an urge to retire and do something different, led me to think about emigrating when I retired. This quickly led to the France section of the website where I started to gather together information that I saw as important to know (and therefore keep). Within two years the France section was huge and I realised there was nothing like it on the web at all!

It was sometime during the early build of the France section that I realised I had enough important stuff gathered to warrant the thought of publishing to the world. I had serious problems letting my family know what I had discovered about the future and about the family tree. There was no place I could hold my website other than locally to me - I mainly worked upon (and held) it at work but carried as reference on my pocket pc and eventually my phone. The only thing I could do was to send small files on floppy disk to Bev to view.

The website didn't see the outside world until I had a smart phone and used Google accounts as backups of my data. Originally I was against this but it became apparent that the only logical way forward was to use external storage - and that meant either downloading to a pc or being held in the ether.

I saw a cheap sale of .info web domains five years ago and brought NearFuture.inf, it wasn't until I accidentally found a link for free web hosting that it got published. It could easily still be waiting...

Doing things right

I must start to post links to news items that I read. I get so many supplied by Google Now that I read them, save some of them and never get to add them to the website. If I'd posted links at least you both can read them too...

The Sun's twin

When I started my research the subject of the sun's twin, Nemesis, was confined to the outer fringes of science. Now it's been confirmed that all stars are born as twins, ours included. The chances are that Nemesis drifted away millions of years ago as there has been a detailed search for it recently, but if it's out in the Oort Cloud now it may have been missed.

More on this on the website soon...

Coming true

I have some pdf news stories that begin to corroborate some of the possibilities I have collected. Watch for changes to my Foretold page...

Slowly but surely science is agreeing with the stories I have collected.

It has to be coming - there's no other logical conclusion to draw!

New Google Web site

I've made good progress in creating a website in Google Sites. Follow the link here: https://sites.google.com/site/nearfutureinfo/

Finally a chance for the world to read what is coming!

I do have to get going again

I have a file for you to read. My workings is saved as a PDF. It'll take you through my steps of discovery and the few huge coincidences I encountered.

Slow or stopped?

I still haven't done anything. But I did see an interesting article in the press:

http://www.express.co.uk/news/weird/797468/Asteroid-Puerto-Rico-23-June-kill-millions-video-warning-tsunami-earthquake-Jesus

This article's about a video warning, as the url suggests. Interestingly it warns the events will be caused by God before the Rapture, and the only way to survive will be by following Jesus Christ.

This is another take on the Christian end of times -- it talks about recent blood moons being the warning of the 'The Warning of Garabandal'.

So there are more nutters about than just me! It uses all the ingredients and the 3 days are days that the world will not rotate. I kind of hope they are wrong...

But it does go to show that I'm on the same hym sheet, so to speak.

I'm slow

I've been ill lately and have completely lost direction again. Apparently I have OSA, which does account for my disinterest; thank goodness, I was beginning to wonder what was up. Anyhow, I'm going for treatment next week so I hope I'll notice a dramatic difference...

06 December 2016

I have updated my Facebook group and removed all the old downloadable files. Until the website is up and running, downloadable pages will be available in the discussion forum.

I'm slowly getting the hang of the forum and the blog, and the blog app for android. I wish I could say the same for Google sites. The new one seems quite straight forward, but it screwed up during the creation of my first page! No way forward and no way back... The original sites uses HTML, I'm OK with that but I don't want to have to build a new site from scratch. I have a site I've built (for me) in simple HTML and JavaScript. Can I bring this into sites? No. I'm not happy.

04 December 2016

I didn't manage to get the invitation emails to arrive though. But I did find out how to make someone a member of the forum. And now we are two.

02 December 2016

Wheehee! I managed to invite someone to the discussion forum last night (about 1am!) And this morning I posted two posts with accompanying files. A great step forward as the files were pdf's of two of my web pages - the serious ones, predictions and my prediction (basically the start and the conclusion of my study of the future).

01 December 2016

Hopefully, I'm nearing the final solution: I have a google discussion forum opened to discuss (web) pages of information. This is where Joe Public can put their ideas forward. I have (in the interim) a google site to present my web site. And for completeness I have opened a Facebook group. For the time being I'll use this set of sites to see how things transpire.
I'm getting some idea of what I'm doing now. I'll use this blog as a blog; a step by step narrative of what I am doing to the NEAR FUTURE INFO collection of sites. As such it'll be a place to bring the story together and to let everyone know what is changing...
I'm having a struggle figuring out how to plan my media attack on the world. I have a web site that I hold locally on my phone and this is where I keep my findings and my thoughts. But I want to expand...

The NEAR FUTURE INFO collection of sites is growing but without a clearly defined plan. The lack of a plan is mainly down to the fact that I don't know what is out there (in cyber land) to help me build a cohesive set of tools to put forward my thesis.

I have the obvious, a domain, NearFuture.Info has been mine for some years not but it is unpublished. My original thought was to simply publish my local site to this domain. But I'm a bit tight (in the wallet department) and don't like to pay my domain handler any more money than necessary: Why should I pay for hosting? Why should I pay for web building tools when I have a nice simple site in HTML that I have built myself? So I haven't done anything. Not what I was planning when the .info sites came on the market.

The I discovered Google bits. And I started this blog with the intention of using it to publish my web pages for free. But, of course, it isn't that easy. The blog setup is not for publishing web pages and doesn't lend itself to that sort of format. I initially tried to use it as a discussion forum and to post my web pages as pdf files for download. But this isn't what a blog is built for either. So now I have this blog and I don't know what to do with it!!!!!

This is my first post on my first blog: Hello World!
